It was wonderful to have Ute and David join a second trip with me. They travel extensively and Ute is very generous with her knowledge of all the areas that they have visited. In this case it was a pleasure to be part of her second trip to Namiri Plains…and I suspect not the last! Thank you Ute.
She wrote a few lines about his trip:
“A few words which don‘t do justice to the wonderful experience we had:
This was our second trip guided by Edward having enjoyed an outstanding safari to the Luangwa valley in October of 2023.
In the weeks before our trip to Tanzania we were closely following Edward‘s adventures in the mud after exceptional rains in East Africa. But we were in luck: Just before we arrived the rains stopped and we left our wellies at home.
We were joined by Ann and Iain who were great company and fun to be with and made the trip even more enjoyable.
The first 3 nights we spent at Olakira Camp and had really good sightings around lakes Ndutu and Masek. On the road transfer to Namiri Plains Camp we saw massive migrating herds around the Gol Kopjes – and our sightings at Namiri were just fantastic.
The combination of Edward and Paterna, the Asilia Guide, gave us the best guiding experience we have ever had in over 20 African safaris. Edward is the perfect host and goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a memorable trip.
We have already booked our next safari with Edward and are very much looking forward to 2027.”
